We were delighted that Innovation Gym was shortlisted in the recent inaugural Women In Innovation Awards, organised by WIN (Women In Innovation) in NYC on 23 September 2022.   WIN is an inspiring community of women working together to help build a world where women are defining — and designing — better futures.  These first ever WIN awards aimed to celebrate and recognise women-and those championing women- in the world of innovation.

Innovation Gym was nominated in the General Innovations category, recognising women-led teams developing game-changing products, experiences, or services.

Just over a year ago, we recognised that time-pressured Innovation teams often want cutting-edge training to stay ahead but struggle to take time-out for traditional training that they can’t apply straight away.  This inspired us to create Innovation Gym – a new way to keep innovation “muscles” fit and up to date.  These rapid, skill-boosting “Gym” sessions are proven to have instant impact in the real world.  Applying the principles of neuroscience and nano-learning, these live, small-group sessions use a “learn-by-doing” approach with expert trainers and relatable case studies.  And since each session is only 2 hours, teams can rapidly get the skills boost they need, right when it’s most urgent and relevant for them.

We have now trained over 600 innovators across the globe and have a team of trainers, some of whom we met through the WIN network, so we were even more delighted to be nominated as WIN finalists!

The Awards Gala was an inspiring event with thought-provoking speakers and an engaging opportunity to connect with other innovators and finalists.  Congratulations and thanks to WIN for a wonderful event and to the winners helping to lead the way for women innovators everywhere!
