Bryony is a mixed method researcher, who supports Untapped in a variety of roles, but mostly as a qualitative moderator, listening to consumers and observing how they use products and services, to understand user journeys and unmet needs, which ultimately feeds into innovation strategies.
Richard Smith
Rich is an experienced Brand Strategist who has worked with brands at P&G, BBC and Bacardi. With an infectious energy, he excels at uniting teams and driving innovative product strategy. As an Associate, he loves working with brands to ensure their innovations deliver strong ROI by winning both consumers’ heads and also their hearts.
Peter Bailey
Peter works primarily in the beauty and personal care sector with FMCG companies, ingredient suppliers and third-party contract manufacturers to help develop impactful product mixes as well as sharpening their technical communication via engaging, consumer-centric stories.
Sharon Powell
Sharon started out at P&G and has now had 25 years of experience in marketing and consumer research. Having worked in marketing and advertising before becoming a researcher, she knows exactly what it takes to make sure research results are genuinely useful to business.

Preriit works with the Untapped team on strategic projects by analysing data from multiple sources using various data mining tools and AI techniques.
Zoe McQuillin
Zoe McQuillin is a senior qualitative research consultant, who works with Untapped Innovation on qual insight generation projects. She brings an academic background in social anthropology to view every project through a cultural lens.
Aveen Redjep
Aveen is an innovation consultant with 18 years of wide-ranging industry experience spanning product model development, breakthrough claims and demos, and product-based storytelling in multiple sectors, from FMCG to healthcare to self-care devices, including digital products. She currently supports Untapped on strategic projects and co-creating and delivering courses for their Innovation Gym.
David Panos
David is an ethnographer and semiotician with over 25 years experience, mapping product categories and decoding the social meaning of design, packaging and communications as well as highlighting emergent trends, placing our research within a dynamic cultural framework.
Heather Newton
Heather is an Insight & Innovation Consultant and has been collaborating with Untapped since 2019 – helping to develop training materials for Innovation Gym, and running consumer research activities to feed into client projects. Heather loves uncovering actionable insights that spark creativity and unlock growth.
